The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the retirement of 13 Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs).
The retirement of the officers was posted on the Nigeria Police website on May 21.
They are Johnson Uzuegbunam, Mohammmed Zarewa, Christopher Ola, Bukar Maina, Danlami Yar'Adua, Mohammed Abbas and Shehu Babalola.
Others are John Moronike, Mu'Azu Hadejia, Charles Cole, Madueke Uzu, Stephen Hart and Ephraim Amakulor.
The Chief Information Officer of the PSC, Mr Ferdinand Ekpe, confirmed the retirement in Abuja on Tuesday.
