Kano: Suspected Terrorists Gun Down Customs Officer, SSS Operative

Suspected terrorists this morning in different parts of Kano State gunned down a senior custom officer, and an operative of the State Security Services (SSS).
The Customs Officer was killed at about 10:40 am in Tishama by the gunmen, who had trailed him to the area.  Several people very close to the scene took to their heels upon hearing the gun shots.
The SSS operative was also trailed in Hotoro by gunmen who repeatedly shot him at a close range, leaving him in a pool of his own blood after ascertaining that he was dead. A source told SaharaReporters that today’s victims seemed to have been specifically targeted.
Members of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Kano are said to be combing the two locations in search of the gunmen and their hideouts.
