Unknown gunmen today in Zaria, Kaduna State shot dead a Lebanese,
Mr. Padi Ibrahim. Mr. Ibrahim was a construction worker with Mother Cat
Construction Company, with headquarters along Nnamdi Azikiwe Express
Way, Kaduna.
His Nigerian driver, Aliyu Nurudeen was also killed in the attack. The gunmen abducted another Lebanese, Amir Drek with whom they were traveling.
The incident occurred around 7am in Kakeyi village, Zaria on their way to a dam where they were carrying out a project.
A staff of the company told SaharaReporters, “It was on their way to the dam that the gunmen attacked. In the bush, they killed our staff, and our driver and their corpses are now in the mortuary. They abducted one of our Lebanese boss and went away with him.”
Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed the murders and abduction as well.
